Open Practice @ COCR October 22nd

Come give it a try. There are folks that care trying to work out the bugs. The track has changed a lot since I was a member 5 years ago.

I'm not seeing much else on the calendar. Come give it a try and give me some constructive criticism that I can pass along.

Billy Demastry and Tony Mock will be working the track with the dozer. There will be nice prep, new water truck, a working tractor, and it's a contingency race! Saturday practice, then a pitbike race after practice. Race Sunday.

So never mind giving me constructive criticism, you can give it to Billy and Tony...lol.

My apologies to Billy, Tony, COCR and everyone else. I know better than to repost anything from Facebook. I don't know what I was thinking. That is why I don't have an account. It was all a misunderstanding.

On the other hand, mother nature has been kind so far, and there will be a tractor and dozer delivered tomorrow to start working the track. If the forecast is correct, should be really nice this weekend.

Alright COCR. I'm not on Facebook, so I am unaware of any updates/cancellations regarding open practice tomorrow. Is it still on? If so, what time and can I have an address.......please? Briarcliff cancelled, so hopefully a bunch of people will come out to COCR!

I'm actually waiting as well. We got a lot of rain too. Last I heard, the track is sitting still hard packed, and they are going to see what it looks like when the tractor hits it in the morning. Practice is from 11-5. I'll post up as soon as I hear.

If it's open, I'll be there.

From the track guide on this website...

9171 Buckeye Rd.
Sugar Grove, OH 43155

From Google earth, it's actually about 1/4 mile past that address on the right. At the top of the hill.

$10 gate fee for the weekend, $25 to practice. $10 Wrist band can be turned back in before 6pm on Saturday for $10 return if you aren't staying for the racing on Sunday.

Had a blast today! They did a great job with the prep after all that rain.. and the dirt clods were neither too large nor too small lol

It was great yesterday. Anyone that stayed home worrying about whether it was going to be too sloppy or not missed out.

Good seeing you again Dirtramper and k01!

Good to see ya again too Ron. Saturday was real walk down memory lane for me, good times! Last I can remember though.. the entrance road went along past the first turn and the older six pack was still there (really need to stop with these off and on retirements lol)
