Come on out for Saturday's practice and camp out for Sunday's racing. If you love the track like alot of people do you can even join the club and ride whenever you want. Hope to see some pitracer folks there.

What does my son need to race? AMA card or are you strictly a club? Any other cards or memberships needed?

Besides the normal classes svr also offers a 2-stroke class, D class, and a bomber class.

Wildman is right, no cards or membership fees to ride or race.

Vet classes from a list I looked at in the SVR clubhouse are: 25+, 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+ and 60+...a veritable Vet Fest! In years past, SVR pays 40% cash for vet classes...or maybe you could make a deal on a t-shirt or something.

Track looks great, mother nature was on our side today for practice , water trucks and equipment are on the track tonight, should be prime tomorrow

Good time today. Anybody know who was taking pictures? Saw quite a few cameras going.

I can't wait to hear a track review........

I can't wait to hear a track review........

Funny that you should ask...
Since dirt country cancelled at 6am for mud on the nicest day of the year and we were already loaded up, we made a extremely rare trip north to race. Never been there and didn't remember anyone giving details so I had zero expectations. Really liked the old school feel of the place and everyone we talked to was friendly. Track layout is pretty neat and the dirt is fantastic.
BUT.
1. Someone needs to buy a chainsaw. Good lord. You can see 1/10 of the track.
2. The slowest program in the history of motocross. Race 9 of 14 and did not get out until 5:15. Painful
3. See #1
4. The P.A. OMG please turn off that staticky POS.
5. Trees. Cut them down.
6. Water truck crew. Well, if you were there you know.
7. Offer free firewood to everyone in the state. You cut it you keep it.
8. Steel fence posts outside the fast first turn. Someone is going to get killed in this state with all the fence posts so close the some of the tracks around here.
9. Build a community of log homes for the homeless with all those trees

Overall I had a great day with two of my sons at the races. Youngest first ever race on a 65 so it was an adventure every time he went out of site (which is a ton) just to see if he kept it running to the next corner. Kinda cool to see we still have old school racetrack around but it really does need some love from a chainsaw

Closing. Have to say how great it is to have ice cream at a motocross track. That was my favorite part

I'd like to thank everyone that came out over the weekend. Yes we had 1 ambulance run from the mini track that I know of.

Ck1racerx, thank you for your more than fair review. We definitely took some steps back in some areas and have a lot of work to do. I will bring up all of your points at our next meeting as we discuss where and how we need to improve.

Thanks again
