If I was Anderson I’d consider myself winning the main if the only guy in front of me was toequittermac.
 
With everyone getting hurt all he needs to do is keep it on two wheels. He could end up being lone survivor.
 
Still lots of races ahead.-not calling it over yet.

Not sure if anyone listens to the main event moto podcast. Danial Blair brings up the chase format, kind of like a “play off’s” for supercross. Last 10 rounds the top 7 in points reset and the most points after that wins the title. Thoughts? I know AX has a chase format.

Might as well have three stages and planned race cautions as well. Just to tighten them up. And give the first rider down the lap down back. Then maybe Eli Tomac would continue to racing after he hits the ground.
 
No one "likes" a run away title but it doesn't kill the sport when it happens. I don't think anything needs fixed. Anderson is one DNF from losing his lead, big whoop. Even IF he takes the title by 100 points, it doesn't change that the racing is great week in and week out. 10 race chase is more than half the season, why not just call the west coast Spring Training then?
 
Hate the chase idea. NASCAR has a chance, stage races now, lucky dogs to get laps back etc. Their viewer ship is way down and most on NASCAR sites hate all the new gimics.
 
Last year was exciting. Both classes came down to the last round. How it should be. But don’t implement a chase to get it.
