There is no way that AHRMA will have a race at Red Bud unless you can guarantee 200 riders. The promoters won't hold a race for 60 or 70 entries. Maybe in conjunction with a vet race? If they try to start an Event like the Unadilla Rewind, I'm guessing they could make it work. Most of the jumps...

I believe that everyone pays a gate fee regardless if you race MX or not? It's been like this every year that I've been there.

They need to make a list of the eligible bikes for the non-current and classic non current classes. Only about 6 manufacturers to cover. It would not be difficult.

There were people riding on the infield pit bike track all day long. Big bikes, pit bikes and road bikes. Some had helmets on, some didn't. Pretty wild. I heard the camping area pit/golfcart/fourwheeler races got shut down Friday night.

2nd place in classic non-current was a 1998 CR 500. The class is 1990 and older with a like design stipulation. Does that let all the CR 500's in the classic class? I thought it was weird nobody protested.

Our local vintage series has a 1989 and older class called Innovation and a 1999 and older class called Transition. They both work quite well. I would try those and then maybe a Modern class for everything up through 2016.

Team DC Plastics / Hot Foot Moto took the vintage mx des states team win. 3 out of the top 4 teams were from Michigan I believe. The Florida guys were ready for us to go home. Great event. Fun, loamy track. Next year it will be a two day event.

The Michigan vintage series has 14 races in a season. Most of the guys have a hard enough time keeping their bikes together for those.
