Is it the spokes that are holding this bike back from selling?

Alright so it was the final race of the year for the AMA PV series in 14 I think at the track just North of Louisville in IN, can't remember the name, and there was a good size triple off an uphill. I was standing right next to it when up comes Denny wide open in practice on one of MW's...

Is it the spokes that are holding this bike back from selling?

It's a good one but MW has to give it the green light! He knows him much better then me....... I will tell it though because I was there.

I was wondering if that was Denny the flying W when I saw the Croton I guess so?

Is it the spokes that are holding this bike back from selling?

1.The $4,000 more he wants than it's worth. I would need extra cash for new wheels, a number plate, seat cover(has to say Yamaha on it), strip and blast the silver paint off the pipe, and I am pretty sure a rebuild on the rear shock. 2.Why would you buy that when you could buy this...

Action Sports Motocross & GP Practice 2/19

Darn it - I will be skiing in Colorado. On that question I believe the MX track will pretty much be part of the GP track. KO1 can back me up but they typically incorporate most of it, maybe not a few jumps, in the GP track. One of my favorites for sure and go if you can. Great to see Drew...

    Mecum Motorcycle Auction Vegas

I went through every page on this and there are some awesome bikes for sure. I saw one that got me real emotional for the following reasons: https://www.mecum.com/lots/LV0117-262914/1976-suzuki-gt550-triple/ In 1981 at 16 I was working as a ride operator at Geauga Lake and a 65 year old guy...

A couple of new articles on Cleveland Bike Life track

I'll say it again. These people aren't kids under 18. Why the hell are they making a place for adults with no job somewhere to F off and not work? How old is the mayors grandson? Taxpayer money going to people in that age group that should be contributing via income is a joke. No low...

    Title

Ohio is a pain in the rear when it comes to this. I used this service http://www.motorecyclenow.com/title-service.html similar to what the craigslist add says this guy got me registered in VT for what I remember was $185 total. I walked into the BMV with that registration and they handed me...

    Winter Projects Re-re-re-re-visited

Nice score John. I think I remember that was a great bike that year. Start looking for an NOS chain guard and mud guard for the linkage! Will look brand new. Although you might know how to make the ones on there look like new?

    Trump daddy

For my 12th birthday in 1977 I begged my parents to get me a Schwinn Varsity 10 speed so my dad cut me a deal - I'll pay $100 if you pay the rest which was $60. I busted my butt cutting grass and made it happen. In about 2008 I bought my daughter a Schwinn 18, or whatever speed, at Wal-Mart...

Need parts for 1977 Yamaha YZ100D

For cross reference I find partzilla.com kicks butt. Go to OEM parts for the 77 YZ100 and find the exact part you need. Click on the part description specifically and it shows every year bike that shares that part. Looks like the left side cover is the same on: 1976 YZ100C FRAME SIDE COVER...

Who needs a new headache? RM500 needing help

Could be a diamond in the rough and I bet this guy would take $300 or less for this thing. Plastic is available at Vintage Suzuki! Can't be a hard to find the right front end. Come on man somebody bite! I would but I don't have the room. http://dayton.craigslist.org/mcy/5862991471.html...

Where are the racers? At the GNCCs

My next bike is going to cover it all - GNCC, MX, Dualsports, Enduro's, or GP's. I have a vision where I have a headlight and a rear fender(with plate and brake light) that I can switch out in 10 minutes with a number plate and clean fender. The KTM and Husky 2 stroke 250's and 300's or the...

    Unadilla 2017

I can back that up! I have been there the last 2 years on my 83CR 250 and never had any problem with my pike being in PV. Its a fun deal for a good cause with some good seat time if you do HS and MX both.

    Narcan

Sorry but it is not fair to a say that every one of the massive amount of people all addicted to heroin are worthless. I never even knew someone that did the stuff and 2 weeks ago a good friend of mine OD'd at 51. Great guy, great family, give you the shirt his back, you name it - he just let...

    The return... With a twist.

A very good friend of mine said "be patient" when I was getting the swingarm bolt out of my 83 CR in 2013 after what I am certain had never seen grease since new. PB blaster and a hammer/rubber mallet daily as much as possible. Took 2 weeks but it came out no problem. Still use the bolt...

AHRMA Race Sat Sept 17@ Amherst Meadowlarks

Agree on all of that. Driving up it was raining buckets from Ashland until we were 15 minutes from the track and we were thinking for at least an hour "not a chance but what they heck we came this far' Got there and still thought "no way" and glad I was wrong. I am no expert on track...
