I see TM's pop up occasionally on eBay, but they never seem to bring the money they are truly worth. Never ridden a 4 stroke TM, i'd be scared with the maintenance and timeline of getting replacement parts. Overseas the bikes are very popular.

Every time I have hear of this problem, I always find out the outer basket is bad and allows the clutch fibers to stick. Even after filing them down, which doesn't fix anything as the fibers will dig grooves into basket just as fast. Or if the fibers can't slide smooth because the extra play...

There's your problem or human error putting something back together wrong.

Its all about airflow, bigger isn't always better. Head mods, polished exhaust port, V-Force reed and matched cases is you best, most reliable option. PM me if you want some good people to call.
