I would say as long as that dealer can get you parts at a reasonable time and price then sure. If this kid is just racing locally I think they would be a fine bike, very affordable. However for more serious racing you would want to go with a newer KTM or Cobra.....

This was at Route 62 a couple of weeks ago.... Izzi is most likely in last or maybe ahead of one or two people. That smile under her helmet is always there! This was one of the first times that she was ever disappointed after racing, she asked us how many people she beat and we told her not many...

The Acerbis Uniko are great for the KTM, they are not quite as big as some of the others.... as for the PW is it much harder due to the lack of room and smaller bar diameter. I am sure you could make them work but would probably be easier to just put on an extra pair of gloves :)

I love the new Leatt C frames but they don't fit me properly (not many braces do) , every person over 5'3 that I have had try them on love them. Haven't had any warranty issues or anything like that so far.....
