    Yz 144 sputtering

Hello. All the above suggestions have merit. Here are some of my suggestions you can try. 1) Unless you did a throttle specific chop IN the throttle position/fuel circuit you are testing plug reading is suspect. Simply removing the plug and looking at it is not an indication of AFR plus...

How did you pick your racing number?

479 is the number of letters in the first, middle and last name of a girl I liked who died in a house fire in the 6th grade. In the late 70's I asked the AMA if I could have 479 as my last 3 numbers which years ago was AMA Life Member Earned.

    When is enough to much????

Its allot tougher to race now than when I was a pup. The cost alone of a bike today let alone a tow vehicle and race fees, I dont see how you do it. My biggest passion was ice hockey, in the summer when hockey camps were over I went dirt bike riding. In 1974 my Dad and I started out with clip...

    Favorite Vintage racing class

I also built a bike for the Late Rick Phillips to ride, I remember he did the same thing Mike did, he holeshotted everyone in Florida one year. I was standing at the first turn and I just saw that CR ON the rear wheel crossed up flying down the start straight. This was in the pits at Honda Hills.

    Favorite Vintage racing class

Some of my fondest memories were at AHRMA races. Mike, (At Grattan) I remember we were on the back part of the track and I was instructing you on how to ride that beast. My only words were: NEVER, I repeat NEVER let off from WFO, in the turns hold it WFO and just clutch it. I remember that...
