If they're cracked, with no major pieces missed, it's likely that they can be welded. I would personally advise against putting much money into that bike, they had a lot of issues, and aren't really desirable on the used market.

If you go there, make sure your bikes are secure. It seems like every time there is a big race there, several bikes get stolen. There is a lot of riding area there, and it's all sandy.

For me, my 250sx with the 300 kit is perfect. Kickstart two strokes start faster than e start for the most part. But as said earlier, whatever you have should work. Very fun races, I'm really bummed that I can't make this one.

Hey Mike, the 84 Honda red was called flash red, it actually is kinda orange. The tahitian red is 76-82.
