Action Sports GP Saturday August 24

I didn't realize I had a fellow pitracer member lined up next to me, I would have introduced myself. I was on the white YZ250 on your left. Hope you enjoyed the race, it was a bit slick though. You riding the OMA rounds?

Action Sports GP Saturday August 24

I don't know about "master", but I've been doing them a while lol. Still riding the YZ, still a 250, but I've been wanting to try a 300 kit for a good while now, probably get the Athena kit this winter. Running stock 09 forks, just sprung for my weight, been running a TTX rear shock, going to...

Action Sports GP Saturday August 24

It was a beautiful day, muddy in the am sessions, no mud in the pm, but still a bit slick. Overall, a fun day at a fun track. I guess that's easy for me to say, because I wasn't there for the morning mud lol.

Rockstar energy team now on KTM???

KTM is taking over the world lol. Just a few years ago, who would have thought that KTM would have so many top riders? If they had RV and Tomac, it would be over.

    Action Sports SUNDAY July 14th

I think that pretty well sums it up. I hope the OMA GP track owners make it to some Action Sports or Fast Traxx GP's and have similar track layouts and programs. The absolute best bang for the buck in racing imo. motox37 moving on, as usual. I was impressed with how that 300 KTM was romping...

Rain at Smith Rd? ...it was the mud from hell at Casey's PV day!

That's exactly right. I've always disliked hare scrambles because of the too tight trees, nasty creek crossing/mud bogs, and various other bike/body destroying obstacles. The Action Sports and Fast Traxx GP's are like long natural terrain MX tracks with nearly an hour of riding per session. I...

Rain at Smith Rd? ...it was the mud from hell at Casey's PV day!

I love it, decade class grudge race lol, now how about some 50+ riders show up. Starting line has been rather thin so far this season.

    2 stroke World Championships

Not sure of the dealers, I saw it on the thumpertalk.com Husky forum. Probably Hall's in Illinois, they are a pretty big Husky dealer.

man I feel like I hit the lottery!

My bad, I thought the one you started with was an 82. I was just commenting that the 83 is a much better bike than the 82, but never mind lol. I've had a few 490's in the past, 85, 86, and I spent a decent amount of time on an 82. Wish I had been smarter back then lol.

man I feel like I hit the lottery!

That's a huge update, going from an 82 to an 83.

    2 stroke World Championships

There are some fantastic deals on Husky's as well. I've seen 125's which include the 144 cylinder for $3400! 250F's pretty cheap as well. All this would be a major bummer if you had bought one earlier in the year for near retail price. Good deal for buyers now though.

Must have upgrades for 13 yz 450?

Hey Georgie, just a thought, won't the $2000 in extras you are willing to get put the bike darn close to what you will be able to get a 14 for? Who knows what the 14's will be like yet, but usually Yamaha's are pretty good stock, and with the redesign, I would think the 14 would be preferable.

    New Yamaha's

Thanks guys. I rode a 10 YZ450 a little bit today, it was better than I expected, still won't give up the 2 stroke though.

    New Yamaha's

I for one was happy that the 2 strokes stayed the same, makes mine better than a 14' And I just don't care about 4 strokes.

    Gas prices

It's still Bush's fault, the never ending battle cry of the Democrats. For the 87 vs 91/93 octane debate, nearly all modern cars have knock sensors in their computers, they automatically retard the timing when they sense detonation. The premium fuel requirement is for optimum performance.

    where to race June 9

Come over to Fast Traxx and try a GP. You don't need hand guards, and the track is a lot of fun. Warning though, it may make you wonder why you set around all day to race MX lol.

    Ready to Race

Home made ones with permanent marker. Metal Mulisha misspelled in yet another way lol. Sorry Georgie.

What the heck John, no black plastic, no Metal Mulisha graphics, and the wrong number. Hardly ready to race lol.
