The OMA didn't "take them away" as in stealing them. I believe they both thought that the OMA was the better route to take for the future of their MX programs.

You only need an AMA card to race it. If you want to try to qualify you have to pay an additional $10 to MX Sports on top of the race fee (at least that was last year's prices).

It looks like the biggest girls bike class this year was seven riders, another with five. The rest was either one rider or two, and once with three. Having a series which would include a mandatory race a each track would be cool for some, but definitely tough for others due to the overall distance the OMA covers. For sure nothing first time or local racers would be interested in. Fortunately a lot of the tracks also offer free overnight...

For sure, combine classes / staggered starts in the same moto rather than drop some classes. The only downside is the additional awards that the promoter or track has to buy (but is that really that much of a big deal?).

We were at Muddy Creek this past summer for one of their Mega Series races which is promoted by Victory Sports and AMA sanctioned. They ran they following beginner classes and it seemed to work for them: - 50 beginner - 65D - 85D - 250D - 450D - Unlimited C/D I know in their first year the OMA...

Fair enough - Salem Motorcycle Club is who I was speaking of. These are the people that run Skyview, and just happen to run the CRA as well. No problems at all with Hands and Trevor.
