Race Tech Most Shocking Performance Award - Jeramy Taylor
Jeramy Taylor embodies the reason we put this race together for the first time back in 2008. Our entire vision for this race was to help riders in need and to get riders who have talent, but may not have the right connections or the exposure they deserve. For all of these awards, not only this one, we do quite a bit of research on the families, as well as the racers' situations, to determine who is most deserving and who our awards will help the most.
Due to a lack of funds, Jeramy lined up on the first moto of 250 A on Saturday with a broken set of reeds in his KTM 250 2-Stroke, and still managed a sixth place finish. At one point, he was in the 4th place spot battling with some of the biggest named A riders in the country. After talking with some of his close friends who had brought him down to this race, we decided that Jeramy could really use the help, and would most definitely put it to good use. As Jeramy pursues his dreams of racing Supercross this season in the 250 class, we hope that this award will aid him in quite possibly one of the most important parts of having a good bike for supercross — suspension. So, congratulations Jeramy, and we’re happy to help you out any way that we can!
