Late post.
So hit up RT62 for a few weds nights lately. Also hit up the race last Sunday.
Wow....what a difference!! I haven't been there in couple years or so because, to be honest, it sucked. Not any more.
The prep is great, deep and wet ( keep your mind out if the gutter ). The jumps are refaced and have good transitions with safe landings. A few technical areas that are safe but still separate riders, and lots af rutted corners. All you "don't prep deep" people will still like it, it's not over board, it's just right.
The Sunday race git hard pack and dusty near the end if the day but I did notice they didn't prep like they have on the weds I've been there. There was a good chance of rain Sat night and Sunday so that's understandable.
If you haven't taken the time, make time and check it out. It's worth the trip.
