Guy posted this on FB. Wanted to know how he stuffed a 100cc engine into a 125 frame. I think Marc was just talking about this in one of the other threads.

No stuffing - ha! Slipped right in.
The engine mount locations & bosses were identical.
Suzuki was using the same lower cases for both the 125 & the 100
The bike would run a bit different depending on if I ran the 125 pipe or the 100 pipe.
Stock engine. Sandblasted cylinder & head for factory look.
Hoss Ind. fenders front & rear.
I spray painted the number plates white - my mom made the custom digits out of adhesive shelf liner.
A bit taller seat my dad made.

During that time Suzuki was transitioning from the down pipe TM series to the up pipe RM.
Suspension had gone from about 5 inches to over 10" + and frame geometry needed to catch up.
Engines were making power over a wider spread and brake designs were being improved on as well.

The TM was a roller skate with a loose wheel - The RM a scalpel.

The big difference was the 125's were equipped with leading axle forks and an extremely good conical front brake.
The 100's still had the TM style stubby forks and cylindrical brake.
