This is a great interview with the GOAT, Ricky Carmichael. Covers MX and Nascar. I found it interesting listening to him discuss how much he made. Recently McGrath did and interview and discussed it as well. RC"s first contract with PC Kawasaki was $30,000 year one, $60,000 year two and $90,000 year three. McGrath I think said his first one was like $27,000. These were the first guys to really start making some money racing motocross. Think they laid the ground work for Villapoto, Dungey, Tomac, etc to start making big dollars. I wonder what a average 250 deal is a year now for say a Levi Kitchen, Bennick, Hampshire, etc.
