Agreed. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out. I can't see how they can continue to operate as they have been. Significant cuts will need to be made. I hope they can turn things around without seriously damaging this great brand.
If it's a safety concern, why cut the moto's by 5 minutes? Why not 10 or even 15 minutes? Where is the line? I think it's CYA on MX Sports part to keep from getting sued if someone gets hurt.
I had a '98 CR500 for about 8 years. Loved the bike. Had an '83 490 Maico and '86 500 M-Star before that so had been riding them for awhile. I felt I was getting a little long in the tooth for a 500 so scaled back to a CR250 in 2006. 500's are great bikes. They can easliy run with or beat...
Jetting......... I have an '06 Honda CR250R and the jetting is never crisp. It's either too lean or its blubbering no matter how much to fiddle with it. Other than the I love the thing.
Barcia will crash his brains out.... just like in the 250's. I wish him the best but he doesn't have a good track record. He was desperate to stay ahead of Dungey. It would have been a real shame it he took them both out. Glad it was just himself.
