Honestly no where is good going to pay around $30 everywhere. I usually park in one of the garages or the hotels across from the stadium there’s some dirt/gravel lots back there and I honestly liked that the most just got there super late last time but pretty much in the $20-$40 range

We have probably been 10 times and haven't found a consistent, secret, cheap, easy exit parking spot.
I parked about a 10 minute walk away last year - put an image below. It was city parking and I think $25. It did have a better exit path which avoided going near the stadium, and I didn't get stuck in the usual gridlock getting home. We always go for qualifying and spend the day - I don't mind parking in the Lucas lots - the early lots they open for practice parking doesn't seem to bury us so we can't get out - but cost a bit more.
I have spent nights locally a couple of times - once at the Holiday Inn Express and once at the JW Marriot - that was fun.
Indy is much better than the parking in Nashville. I didn't like Nashville stadium and parking in the middle of an industrial and metal processing area - expensive private parking and a long delay getting out to the freeway.
