W.T.M. - Weekly updates

What is it?
So it’s two loops set up one is a “cross” test the other is an “enduro” test. Single file start 15 seconds apart.

4 laps on each loop then add up the lap times - lowest lap time wins.

Cross test is moto with grass track and some wide woods - enduro test is all woods/grass track. Little slower more techy stuff.

Sounds interesting, I'm equally slow at all of it lol

A sight lap? or can you walk it?
or do you go in cold the first lap ?

Walk or bike or emtb.

Saturday is practice on the moto so I’ll have that dialed in ~hopefully~

Big block Suzuki ready to party.

Good stuff.
He'll have some locals that have the place wired.
You'll pick up on them in practice. - watch em'
They know how to string the track together.
Good luck - have fun !

No sight lap needed. You get faster (or supposed to anyway) with each test.

It’s pretty awesome. And if it’s muddy it’s grueling. You gotta hit all tests in a certain time frame. You don’t wanna Bust time!!

In was absolutely smoked. Got off the test. Cleaning muck off bike. Rest for a few minute and back out. 10 tests total I recall at the West Virginia round I did.

Do the math. I think my laps were near 12 minutes. Allot of seat time.

Michigan Sprint Enduro! Battle Creek!

Format - badass. It combines the best parts of motocross and off-road. It’s like an “open practice” race? Plenty of bench racing time after you do your cross and enduro test. Gas, drink, suspension clickers, and shake out the arms.

1 hour 9 min total of seat time. I was smoked on the drive home. Started racing at noon done and on the road at 4:15 ish.

Cross test was my favorite - they used the motocross, some grass track and wide woods stuff. The dirt in Michigan….It’s so good. Got a little rain in the morning that made it perfect. (see photo)

Enduro test has some techy sections - and it got ROUGH. 470 riders out there on course gets single track stuff pretty hammered.

I’m hitting another one in May in WV. East coast stuff looks a little more off-road than this one up in Michigan.

I didn’t think they have any Ohio rounds.. but I was down at NCMP for a qualifier last weekend and one of the fast vet guys told me about one near High Point this weekend. Sure does sound like a good time!

US Sprint Enduro at High Voltage… it was on my calendar once that schedule dropped until I realized recently it’s Easter weekend. Definitely want to try one.

Jack, that Michigan one you did looks and sounds like a blast!
