Put pre-mix in the 76 Maico 250 a few weeks ago after sitting for14 months, 3 kicks it fired up....not bad for 36 years old...only wish I could race it!

No-Toil all the way....best thing ever made! I have never used the rim grease on my Susuki, KTM's or Maico's & never had any dirt gets past the rim. It stays tacky for a long time & does not seem to run off after sitting for a few months. It sure beats cleaning in kerosine or gasoline...

I was there that weekend....looks like one of the very few back then where it did not rain. My first race was at Hi-Point in 1978 on my 75 RM 125 & also raced a friends 75 Maico 250 which was the first time on a 250 for me. Was a woods rider form WV so the track & jumps we quite something...

We met fanofmx about 9 or 10 years ago as my daughter & her son we racing 50's...great family but she was the mx mom as I think she was more into racing with the kids than their dad was but he always seemed to have a good time at the track also.

Take it easy with the ball busting as that has chased a few people away over the years plus I like to read as many threads as possible seeing I can't race anymore skipping the post I don't like....
