Lorettas 2016 -- Who are the Heavy Hitters?

I was wondering the same thing. Guys ruse injured and would smoke me if I was healthy. Its been a month since my shoulder issue and I'm still not even thinking about riding. Damn kids and their rock n roll music.

Another year down, and no Ponca City

I always thought of Ponca as a stepping stone to Lorettas. Nothing against it as it still was an amateur national. I also always liked being able to say that I got top three in a qualifier. It was cool when smaller tracks around here would get big crowds for qualifiers. I remember TV Land always...

    2 Stankin Video

He's riding a 4 stroke now? I think the last I saw he was still on a 2 smoker. Either way, that dude is the man. #2strokenation

James Stewart Will Return to Racing This Weekend

Blisters? Is this what it has come to? Sad. There are privateers doing it out there with broken bones and real injuries that have more heart than james. Someone else could use that paycheck he's collecting. He needs to give it up. Sounds like his hands got soft from all that baby powder. Someone...

    Are we alienating proven racers?

I vote for anarchy. I raced C class a lot in my day. I have to say, watching the recent C riders vs. The C riders in 06. No comparison. The guys in the 2000s were fast. More sandbagging then than now. Maybe it has to do with the amount of riders not attending or, maybe I'm just getting old...

    SOUTHWICK is back

I didn't know that. Pretty cool those guys took over and made a comeback. The track looked really good this weekend. Those guys definitely know how to run a national.

    Boots

Not trying to stir the pot or interject but I think George was quoting the clip that was posted on the first page from "Tropic Thunder".

    Are we alienating proven racers?

Oh if turnouts were more like 06 I'd probably race a lot more if gates were larger. I miss that feeling, 40 riders at oir wide open down the start was such a cool feeling. All my most memorable races were mid pack fighting my way up.

    Are we alienating proven racers?

There are too many classes to choose from at the national level in my opinion. I remember doing three lap motos when gates were full at local races and I hated it. That was another reason I stopped racing. I can go ride all day for 25 plus gas. To go race these days you're looking at 40 plus gas...

    SOUTHWICK is back

Is he the promoter for the wick? I remember watching him and doug Henry battle there. Henry on that 250 2 smoke hauling back in the day.

    SOUTHWICK is back

I was wondering if that was the case. I just saw dowd in the listing and didn't really look at the overall results. Would have been cool to see him out there.. lol

    SOUTHWICK is back

Tomac and roczen were on the gas. Did anyone notice mr. Dowd out there? Pretty awesome to see him still riding.

    Are we alienating proven racers?

I'll be in the geriatric classes soon enough. I may slip in to a senile state by then and start flipping off racers pulling in before sign up. Hopefully not, but we could get lucky. Itd make for a hell of a story for the great grand kids.

I wish I had been drinking! I probably wouldn't have tensed up.

    Are we alienating proven racers?

I feel like a dinosaur. I'm starting to get hurt doing things not pertaining to motocross. I dislocated my shoulder two weeks ago tubing at salt fork. Tubing. Put a damper on my summer moto plans. But in the words of arnold.. I'll be back

    Are we alienating proven racers?

I haven't raced, I've practiced a lot but racing got pricey. Jobs got harder to find making enough to support my moto habit and I got sick of getting hurt from pushing myself to win a piece of plastic. As much as I loved racing I had to call it quits for at least a little while. I will return to...

    Smith road practice

I live close to smith and I choose not to ride there. It's not that it's not challenging but for the same reasons everyone else is saying. It's typically not prepped up to the cost of $25 to ride there. To be completely honest, I never was a huge fan of smith, even when George ran it. Nothing...
