    Winter Projects Re-re-re-re-visited

Eye candy wish I could race as very fast and carves turns like a Maico always did! Bike and rider should be getting ready for Unadilla as was on my bucket list but rider needs a full back restoration...if only it was as easy to fix old racers as the motorcycles are ...lol!

    Do you remember Rocket Rex?

Awesome video and story! More amazing is 2,000 wins as few riders from the early 70's had long careers as the suspension beat them up early on back then.

    Local Two-Stroke Cylinder Repair Shops

Moto-Tech does an awesome job as had him bore several of my vintage 2-stroke cylinders a few years back and don't think you will find anyone better job. Checked the bore sizes and he was dead on perfect on all of them. Sure hope he still has a shop open as a great old school mechanic. He also...

AMA - is out of vintage racing

AMA and AHRMA time to kiss & make up as correct me if wrong but Mid-Ohio turn out in 2008 was a thousand riders...2009 split up was 250 riders at two events or 25% of what once was at one event...politics and racing are good for what....not vintage racing as the entries showed...just a dagger...

    One bad azz 83 250!

My last Maico as can't race anymore but went all out on this one as 4-1/2 in the making and a good friend helped me finish the project. Bike pulls extremely strong and feels like you could drag the bars in the turns even though I can't...liked it has the famous Maico handling!

Not bad for old equipment with BNG

What racing should sound like and the gates were full years ago...not the cost of a high priced and high rebuild cost 4T.

AMA Vintage Race at ACTION sports cancelled.

Drew you hit it with politics as that has sadly been real bad for Vintage Racing as the split more than split the turnouts. Politics seem to mess up a good thing every time.

    looking for 1983 cr250 0r 480

Second that as broke the lower linkage tab off the frame bending the stock shock shaft so put a Fox twin clicker on it back in 83 and it made a huge difference over the stock shock. Worth welding a plate on each side of the link to frame tab as saw quite a few back in the day the break off thru...

How did you pick your racing number?

First race in 1978 at Hi-Point Rita Combs said run the last 3 didgets of you AMA number so you don't have to put tape on for using a common number so ran 049 for years and AHRMA in 2007 gave me B49 so not far off. Works as never had to black tape with an X or anything on my plates!

Houston we may have a problem

Dungey is on his A game every main and always finds he way to the front while others can't every weekend. Think outdoors will be a repeat. 250 at Vegas may be the race of the year!
