    AMA Sound Testing Kits

As Pres and Treasurer of D11, I can attest to the fact that 10 years ago, prior to the AMA providing any for free, the District bought three testing kits and distributed them to the MX, Enduro and HS divisions. They have since disappeared with former officers not recalling what happened to...

    AMA Sound Testing Kits

Such negativity AHRMA guy. As the pic proves, all the things you said wouldn't happen did. This was a HS at HVMC and the club members involved were trained and eager. Could some things been done better like the location? Yes, but trackside testing is for a different purpose than lab testing...

    AMA Sound Testing Kits

I recognize that pic - I took it! Haha, but I can also attest to the fact most bikes that day passed and the only one that didn't was a KTM520 with the biggest end cap on it and had likely never been repacked. Most violators were quads and were told to make it quieter and come back for another...

    Who's This?

Mark,, Jeff's dad Dan Gibson? The Pepsi/Y Yamaha guy is the famous Tom Cowher! Now who's the cleanest guy in this pic? You can find the answer on the D11 FB site if you need to.

    Nice 96 RM250 in Columbus

Mark, I had a '85 RM250 too back in the day. Never rode on a better suspension system, but lost confidence in Suzie trannies - after winning at HH, I went to a LL qualifier the next weekend at Steel City and 3rd gear broke the first lap if practice. I heard it happening on other guys bikes too...

    Yes, They live among us!

Oh, I believe they're real... because they re-elected Obama. BTW, Chicago has one of the highest crime rates in the country and favorite stomping ground of guys like Al Capone.

Action Sports site on dates for 2013 AMA Vintage National Championship Series round

Brings back memories as I had one when I rode A class. The dogbone shock linkage is what makes them feel topheavy, but the motor runs sweet when jetted right. They are too rich stock - make sure it has a Q-4 needle jet or you'll foul plugs (I think Q-8 was stock). Then it runs like a Maico!

    Farewell My Friend!

Guess what? I owned that bike too! Your former owner bought it from me. I bought it off Ebay from the guy who had it rebuilt. There was a framed pic of the pro that raced it at the national, but the neatest thing was the trick factory fork adjusters that are on it. I never rode it, but if...

Hocking Valley MC Hare Scrambles 9/30

Off-roaders be advised there is no HS this weekend at Hocking Valley. Their only race this month is on the 30th! MXers, if you've never ridden a HS, soften up your suspension and give it a try. You get more riding for your buck (and sometimes more than you want), but you can ride your own...

    ChilliTown Vintage

Mark, well I offered my ID when I turned 55 because she didn't believe me, but I have to keep reminding them I'm a "senior". It's a great deal - $8, but even at $10, not bad. Their stuffed french toast is awesome! (Stuffed with cream cheese) They have stuff for lunch too but I've never gotten...

    ChilliTown Vintage

FYI - the restaurants with "senior menus" usually don't accept Golden Buckeye Cards because they have that option. Believe me. I have a gem of a place in Gahanna - Creekside Cafe has a wintertime Sunday brunch buffet - all you can eat and it's $2 off for "seniors", 55+!
