I've never really been a fan of FMX . Guess my objection was that it was called motocross and in my minds eye it has nothing to do with motocross . Still , I could always appreciate the guts and skills it took to attempt tricks that looked impossible and no doubt were extremely dangerous . I used to always say jokingly that I would respect FMX when somebody did a front flip , thinking it would never happen . Walking by the TV this morning , ESPN was on and was showing the first successful front flip in best trick at the X Games . The rider's name was Strong , I think . A tip of my helmet goes to the freestyle daredevils .
