Tracksponders Moving to MYLAPS?

MYLAPS has taken into consideration that many racers have made an investment in their old transponder from WEER and for those racers, MYLAPS is making a special exchange offer with two different options to pick from. With either option, the racer can also exchange all mounting clips used for mounting the transponder to the machine. * For the exchange, all WEER transponders traded in must also have a charging cradle and a mounting clip. OPTION 1 - FREE EXCHANGE OPTION 2 - Cost: $40Racers can exchange their WEER transponder for a MYLAPS FLEX transponder at no charge. The new MYLAPS FLEX transponder will expire on 12/31/2014. More time can be added to the transponder via the Flex Manager software.
Racers can exchange their WEER transponder for the MYLAPS CLASSIC transponder. The CLASSIC transponder does not have an expiration date and can be used after 2014.

Purchasing a MYLAPS TransponderMYLAPS FLEX transponder and CLASSIC transponder are available to purchase from MYLAPS web site.
 
$40 for a classic trade, and never need an upgrade. Takes about a week to turn it around. If you need more than 1 clip, make sure you send them that amount back.
 
Yep. Mylaps is high on the hog now. John Dains from trackside software is either working for them or is a divsion of mylaps, not sure on that one. Their new big deal is leasing transponders. You can still buy them outright, but I think you can lease one for $180 for 5 years or something.
