Not sure if other folks have seen that Phil "Flipper" Alderton died to day.....lived life from one extreme to the other, still a shame though!
 
Wow, I spoke to him not 3 weeks ago and he sounded OK. A little hollow and missing his daughter Presley in CA, but otherwise OK. I will be at the viewing if at all possible. I worked for him from 1991 through 1998 at Honda of Troy.
 
Wow......I am speechless. had not spoken to him in a long time other than facebook. My dad was one of his original customers at the Husquvara of Dayton shop long long ago.....then he always took great care of me with bikes when he had Honda/Yamaha of Troy. Hate to see this. I could always tell when Flipper was on drugs......he would be skin and bones. He would get off them and put weight back on again.....it was a cycle. God Speed Flipper.
