Two weeks ago Scottie came up short on a jump at his track and after a few trips to the Dr they sent him to a bone specialist and yep it was broke. Practiced and raced with a broken wrist. He has been working so hard for 3 big races this month, but thats the sport for you. Just wish the Dr's could of casted it 2 weeks ago. Next year for The Battle

2 weekends..

That's a perfect riding cast. Had one just like it. I did take a grip to the dr. with me and formed the edge of the cast to the grip. Same hand and all, he's got it.
 
The same time he almost ate into the garage after the big triple yall built?

Run those races. Its not even the throttle hand. Loosen the clutch up a bit and get it done! You got all winter to heal :) jk.
 
I raced LL with a cast on that hand. I also took a grip to the Dr to get my cast put on. Worked ok.
 
So, the kid totals a 2 ton pick up truck and not a scratch on him. For a second I was beginning he was superman, or maybe has 9 lives.
 
After he went down in the corner at Meadowlarks I can tell he was hurting. I was amazed that his bike fired up on the first kick after it was on its side. That's awesome.

Ya he had a rough day that day but managed to make it happen, when he got tangled up and face planted on the start of 250B 2nd moto I thought he was done for the day took him forever to get up but he got it going to finish 3rd in that one.
 
Hard pack bites your ass. It's terrible. Atleast if you fall in ripped/chzzled you usually get out ok. It's that hard pack.

He broke it a week before Amherst, it hurt pretty bad but he still wanted to race it wasnt till a few days later after his 2nd exray with a bone dr. that they found the break and casted it. Amherst is a nice safe track and Scottie realy like racing there but his only complaint is the berms keep blowing out on him. It seems like good soil and they have good equipment just need to rip the track deeper and water the crap out of it and it would be sweet but its still a nice track.
