Why do some still have a front brake and others not?

You can use front brakes on the TT track,(I think thats what they call it) not Flat track.

We love it. Can't wait to do it again. We got mx this weekend and are looking for more flat track races to go to.
Marc they are running the front break for the tt. You can't run the front break on the flat track part. I learned that since you are close together you don't want someone to bump your lever.

It was a great time !
Would have been fun to see more of the speedway riders do their thing ! Getting around the track like that with NO BRAKES

After riding it I can see why they don't need brakes. I would venture to say that many of the guys in the money class don't use there brakes at all. they throw the bike sideways going into the turn and that acts as their brakes. It will slow them down then they hammer it to come on around the turn. Pretty cool to watch.
