MX 213 Fair Race, Sat. Sept. 8. Gates open at 8 am. Registration will begin at 8 and we would like to have everyone in and registered by 9 am, 9:30 at the latest. The quicker we get registration completed the quicker we can set the line up. The race will start at 11:00 am. All participants enter gate 2, rider is admitted free of charge all others will pay fair gate admission of $8.00 which includes fair entertainment and rides. If you plan on arriving Friday night everyone will pay fair gate admission and if you will be spectating for the Saturday race you will have to pay gate admission for Saturday. Those of you who have asked about camping on Friday night please call us on your way in 740-338-7323, 740-359-4583 or 740-296-9542. If we don't answer leave a message and we will get back to you. So leave plenty of time to make contact, things tend to get a little crazy during the fair. Please keep in mind Friday night is also the big truck and tractor pull.
 
This is the widest shot I have of the entire track but it drops down more in elevation to the left. They had a pretty good turn out at the last race and the Columbus crew cleaned house. Hopefully we will see some full gates for this event. It is a Fair race but the track is a permanent full length coarse with in ground irrigation. I would bring a canopy if you have one, there is no real shade in the pit area.

@marcthesharc... The track is amazing. Been there 4 times and I love it everytime I'm there. It's fast, its wide, it has great elevation change, great dirt(lots of mulch and sawdust added) gets rough and nice ruts in corners. It reminds me a lot of scenic, minus the rocks lol. The jumps are fun and safe. It's a true motocross track. Hope they get a good turn out this weekend!

Would love to try it out, but think I am going to pass this weekend. Over a 3 hour trip, or a race 50 minutes away. Have to go with the shorter drive this week.
 
I was going through some more older photo's making DVD's for some of the folks down there and came across this one, it shows the climb back to the finish pretty well. The rider is Mark Bosnic, really fast Vet rider and I'm pretty sure he won the 450A class too back in June.

Love this track and crew is great. I`ve raced there twice this year and it was awesome. I`ll be missing this saturday race cuz the wifey works on those days. NO GATE FEE FOR RACERS!!!!!! Come on people!
 
Oh and both races there were only 14 motos (unheard of!). I live 2 hours from there and was home by 5 instead of midnight. Full track prep at intermission. Just sayin.
