" Lay of the lap times " starting soon at the indoor/Switchback Raceway. $5 to enter / per try for those that want to give it a shot on any practice day/time - yes $5 on top of your regular 30 to practice. Get's you 3 timed laps . A,B,C Vet, Mini classes etc.... Quad riders as well on the Sunday 5-8 practice quad day/time.
Whats this get you? Well bragging rights is all currently but 100% of the money raised goes towards pro purse for indoor race. Possibly other prizes as well to the winners as we try and get some shops to sponsor this. Top spot in each class only as 2nd place is the first loser.
Arena/sx whoops coming on part of the track (will be optional line around) all "Lay of the the lap time" participants must go through whoops. Top names posted weekly once we start over at Switchback Raceway facebook. All it takes is one fast lap. Come lay down the rubber and your skills. All the out of shape riders that have speed will still be competitive for this as all it takes is one fast lap. Old school stop watch just to clarify and our fingers starting and stopping. No high tech transponders at this point. All for fun and bragging rights at this point but one way to one up your buddies at the track or to satisfy your itch to try and be labeled SK "Speed King" for Lay of the Lap Times for your particular class.
Huge chalk board being picked up today. Leaders with time will be posted for each class and again updated over at Switchback Facebook. Indoor is open 6 days a week and available for rentals as well.
