So, I bring the bike in the basement so I can get cracking at it. Can't say it's my worst fear as I was willing to take that chance, but the bike had the original air filter and it was filthy. Looked in good shape, but...

Then I started to take the rear wheel off and noticed the master link was wider than chain. No biggy. Eventually will get new chain and sprockets. Not worried.

Cotter pin was a nail. Still not worried, just starting to smirk. Axel shaft threads need a little cleaning up due to being pounded on. No biggy. Shaft not sliding out nice...

I'm done for tonight....
 
Haha! Making progress. A little WD-40, tap back in, tap back out, all good. Rear tire changed, front needs stuffed and aired up. New air filter on. Not ready today, but maybe Wednesday or worst case next Saturday. See you there!
