Saturday's program includes, a 1-hour morning Vintage Hare Scramble, Vintage MX Racing and MX Support Classes. MX Support classes are for all ages (including youth riders), all bike sizes and years (including current bikes thru 2013). Sunday's line-up: Post Vintage Hare Scramble, Vintage Evolution/ Combined MX Racing, Non-Current MX and MX Support Classes.

Lots to Report Event fast approaching:

Ballance has had a very busy last few weeks....Early April track changes, LLME Area Q 850+ entries, more track changes, ATVA National 550+ entries and last week more track changes (over 30 hours dozer hours to build 3rd track this season, over 200 dozer hours in last 30 days!!) This last track I would call the ultimate Vintage/ Youth and Vet track I have ever seen. Cool rollers evreywhere and lots of wide open fast sections, but throw in that deep Ballance dirt and you guys that have been here before know its gonna get bumpy, rutted and rough. All new work was finished before we got another weekend of 3+ inches rain. Vintage track is ready to go!! AMA has 10 cool support claases for anyone young, old or with a bike between 97 and 2013. We will not stagger support classes with Natl Vintage classes, support guys will get same long motos as national guys.

Next weekend we plan to finish new woods loop for HS events and most of it will be done with skid-steer. Loop will be fast wide and sandy. We will use part track, some grass section and the new woods loop for HS race. Vinatge MX will be only our national MX track, check out photos loaded on home page from ATV race. Long deep start staright off concrete, bring your horses.....

Other event notes, Track owners are going with local race gate fees and are opting out of suggested National rates/ ranges. So its the basic $20 Adult/$10 Kid pricing for those coming in on Fri or Sat and staying all weekend. Camping is FREE!! $10/ $5 for Sunday. If you aren't staying for Sunday you'll get a partial refund when you leave Sat and turn in weekend armbands.

We are also going to pay 10 of the 39 National "A classes" with the following payouts: 1st-$30, 2nd-$20, 3rd-$10, 4th-trophy and 5th trophy. Top three can get trophy if they want instead of cash and 4th and 4th and 5th has option to get a few bucks with trophy by back option.

We will draw those classes out of hat next weekend and post here Monday before event, this will include those HS A Classes too.

Look for new updates over next 13 days leading up to event!!

Race Orders for Sat and Sun are now posted!! These are TENATIVE!! Good chance some classes will not need to be run and list will reduce by 3 to 5 motos each day.

Thursday we will run some test laps to get some laptimes for new track design and make final decision of moto laps. Looking like 7 laps for adults/ 5 laps for youth and maybe 9 or 10 lap A classes?? This is a National Championship!!!!

Worked hard studying 1st event to get jump on class sizes to make sure big classes get own moto. Most classes no more than one stagger. We put A classes together where it made sense.......A runs with A, B/C with B/C or bigger B/C classes alone. Might have to change, that why it's TENATIVE!!

Staff of 10 will be at track all day tomorrow and friday prepping grounds.....gates open Fri at 4PM.
