OPEN CASTING CALL AT CYCLE RANCH FOR FEATURE FILM, HELLION, BY DIRECTOR KAT CANDLER

FLORESVILLE, TX: An open casting call for the upcoming feature film Hellion by award-winning Texas director, Kat Candler (Sundance Film Festival selections Hellion, Black Metal) and Executive Produced by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, Mud) will be held from 12:30-3:30pm on Saturday, June 8th at the Cycle Ranch Motocross Track (auditions will be held in the Cabin next to Motolicious).
The film is looking for imaginative and spirited boys, ages 8-16. The boys will be considered for leads roles in the film. No experience is necessary.
Hellion is a father/son story about a family struggling with the death of their mother. It will be shot in southeast Texas at the end of summer.

ABOUT THE FILM
Developed in part by the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program, Hellion is directed by award-winning filmmaker Kat Candler, whose films have screened at festivals such as Sundance, SXSW and Slamdance. Her latest short film, Black Metal premiered at Sundance 2013.
Hellion is produced by Kelly Williams a film festival programmer and producer. He is a 2012 Sundance Creative Producing Fellow.
Executive Producer is Jeff Nichols writer/director of Mud starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.
