Is anyone sitting on a 76-80 RM, KX or CR? I would prefer a Big Bore 400+, but might consider a 250. I want a racer so a perfect resto isn't necessary, but I don't want a butchered up mess either. I'm located in Northwestern PA so I'd like to find something within a 4 hour drive.

You might want to open your year range unless you are just looking for mostly twin shock/air-cooled stuff...

With the range of years you are looking at....no CR big Bores were made then....and only the early style, twin-shock, low pipe KX400 or the KX420 Uni-Trak in 1980 were Kawasaki's. Suzuki RM370-400 were plentiful BITD......

I have a '75 KX 250 in mid resto.
Since my son now wants to race I am going to find a '90ish KX500 and be the next Jerry Robin (just an old fat version)
Here is a pic of what it looked like when I started and what it looks like now. Since the pic I found and added a perfect air box and cage. Still have all the parts that came off of it and some new cool stuff to add like vintage gold rims, kill switch and so on.
Let me know and maybe we can make a deal.
