Went to OIR for a practice and had to contend with a bunch of circus trick lips on jumps
and piles of dirt in the middle of perfectly fine racetrack. Didn't think I needed to
post anything here about it but then read this, the de-motocrossing of motocross,
on the international level"

Maybe I'm just old and cranky. But the above link has some nuggets of truth.
And I'm sure of this nugget from the local track level - build a bunch of
circus trick jumps and kids will try the trick. I only saw one carted away
this week but could name some kids that won't walk again because that lip
or that pile of dirt in the middle of a perfectly good motocross track
meant that they had to try it.
