Seems like you're busting at the seams to tell us about it. I remember an article back then as well that said if you bought a bike part by part from the parts counter, it would have cost 3 or 4 times sticker price. What does that have to do with this conversation? Nothing. Just made me think about that.

Besides that, per the cost of inflation, price of today's bikes aren't that far off in reality. Although, I remember picking up my 2003 KX250 out the door for around $5500 in the fall of 2002. Last current model fall purchase I will more than likely ever make. I by them in the spring these days. Well, would.
