A Log Rd and RedBud Weekend

Mitchy got his first crack at Redbud after a warm up at Log Rd (won the 7-9 65cc class). What part of rolling everything on the first lap at Redbud is hard to understand. Went for the double portion of Larocco's Leap on the first lap, cased it, saved it, but took half of the top of the jump off. Thanks for the sand on that one.. Came off the track and said..."Dude, I mean Dad, I love this place."

Uncle Rocket would be proud.

Here was his first moto start and 1 lap at Log Rd in the Open Mini class. He went 4-2 with one holeshot, this was not it, for a 3rd overall. Was able to edge out one of the 85's in moto 2, but had a blast running with the bigger bikes.
