We have been putting down a ton more sawdust for this weekend! The track will be awesome! make sure you get out here for the last race of the season! Gates will open tonight at 5:00, practice tomorrow at 11:00 am, and racing on Sunday.

WOW, good turnout. 309 entries (I don't count quads) by 180 different humans. VS. COCR's numbers of 102 entries by 59 humans.
Apparently this Kentuckiana series has got some good things going. I may check it out on October 4th but for sure next year.
 
I can not believe how many classes there are these days. as promoter you have the have them I guess. A,B,C and now a D class ? Wow

Come on man, you know everyone has to win a trophy. If you cant win then complain to the promoter about adding a class. This is the reason everyone now gets 4 laps, tops. But if you bring that up your just called "old" and don't live in the past.
Damn you Stanford, just got me fired up again.
btw. You busting out the pink gear again this weekend at East Fork?

Chris-I was actually thinking the something as I was writing that, they should call it the everyone gets a trophy classes 1, 2, 3, and 4. I must live in the past because racing sure did seem better back in our days. No pink gear this weekend, don't think I'm going to make it to east creek. I thought of sitting around all day to get 12 laps of riding in doesn't do a thing for me, besides that I'm to slow these days. When are you going to make a comeback ? vintage maybe ?

The '75 Kaw 250 is still setting in my garage about half finished. Just not really feeling it now on the vintage side. Too much drama between AHRMA and AMA and the 941 different classes that they offer. I had a '98 500 I was going to rebuild but split the cases and found it had more issues then Time magazine. If I can find another I may make that this years winter project. No interest in riding one of those new 450 tractors.

yup the vintage thing seems to be losing steam, hope it makes a comeback. I have a 350 thumper, great bike but doesn't do a thing for me. Picked up a 89 YZ250 this past weekend, think it could become my main bike.

I've been watching my moto vids, you got some pretty good starts on that KTM at Vintage Days, and seemed like you rode it well. Wasn't that like a 340cc?
 
I got better starts on that Katoom, then my beloved YZ. Nope as far as I know it's 250, you'd really feel bad if I told much I paid for that bike.
