Was hoping to go but for a number of reasons its just not worth the trip this year. Firstly AHRMA canceled the awards ceremony and dinner, second Marty Tripes and his 100cc pros are not going to be there this year, and the local small bore class will not allow 125cc bikes, I asked but no. SO our only chance to ride is 2 moto's on Sunday. And most importantly it is still flooded, and there is significant rain in the 10 day forecast, may turn into a repeat off last years mud fest.
If you want the ultimate TEXAS vintage MX experience go to RIO BRAVO in November, open practice Friday, 125 included in Saturday's MT races, and racing Saturday or Sunday depending on your flavor. Its an old national track redesigned with the assistance of Roger DeCoster, great dirt, great event. Well worth the trip.
