I can't wait to hear a track review........
Funny that you should ask...
Since dirt country cancelled at 6am for mud on the nicest day of the year and we were already loaded up, we made a extremely rare trip north to race. Never been there and didn't remember anyone giving details so I had zero expectations. Really liked the old school feel of the place and everyone we talked to was friendly. Track layout is pretty neat and the dirt is fantastic.
BUT.
1. Someone needs to buy a chainsaw. Good lord. You can see 1/10 of the track.
2. The slowest program in the history of motocross. Race 9 of 14 and did not get out until 5:15. Painful
3. See #1
4. The P.A. OMG please turn off that staticky POS.
5. Trees. Cut them down.
6. Water truck crew. Well, if you were there you know.
7. Offer free firewood to everyone in the state. You cut it you keep it.
8. Steel fence posts outside the fast first turn. Someone is going to get killed in this state with all the fence posts so close the some of the tracks around here.
9. Build a community of log homes for the homeless with all those trees
Overall I had a great day with two of my sons at the races. Youngest first ever race on a 65 so it was an adventure every time he went out of site (which is a ton) just to see if he kept it running to the next corner. Kinda cool to see we still have old school racetrack around but it really does need some love from a chainsaw
Closing. Have to say how great it is to have ice cream at a motocross track. That was my favorite part
