Thinking about buying new SG12 or Instincts, are the new SG12 a lot better than the previous model?

Kind of leaning towards SG12 simply because I can get a better deal but love the comfortablilty of the Instincts

Something to note. Once I got past size 10, the entire boot is huge in gaernes and most of the Alpinestars. I love the size of the instinct because I can feel the shifter much better and I feel it helps please overall comfort. My last pair I got like 5 years out of. Just got the new black "off-road" version because it has a bit more tread on the bottom. Imo, best boot on the market right alongside Sidi's.

I wear sidis. Have the old instincts as well. Comfortable. Sidis are comfortable and quality in one package. Italy makes nice boots. Instincts are made in China. Stupid buckles suck imo.

I can get the same feel through the boots of sidis as the instincts.

If you like the comfort of the instincts i wouldnt recommend getting sg12's. I had been wearing instincts and got a pair of sg12's for the same reason you are. I hate them. I cant feel anything with them. I have a slightly used pair of sg12's sitting in the trailer because i went back to instincts.
