Devore Decimates Competition - Dominates Deep Conditions at Beans GP
The 12:00 Noon Open Pro Sport moto turned to a barn burner out front with a game of cat and mouse between off-road specialists Koda Devore and Mike Pillar. Pillar jumped out to an early lead on his KTM 250 and took first lap leader honors. On lap 2 Devore scouted an alternate line in the first woods section and made a pass stick. Devore is known for his creative and risky line choices, this one paid off. For the rest of the 35 minute moto the yo-yo game was on. Each rider making gains and mistakes throughout the challenging Beans Bike Park circuit. Devore held on to take the checkers and the $500 win for the pro purse. He showed superior fitness to head back to the line and race AGAIN - taking the win in the college boy class. Motocross rider Jordan Weber rounded out the podium in his first off-road competition. Weber battled back and forth with New England’s Andrew Boccorossa making a last lap pass to secure his spot on the podium. Weber was the only rider to gap the massive table - single on the front section of the motocross track.
