I'd say the 252,000 gallons of water and new mulch did their job as the track had a lot of moisture.
Even with today's heat and wind.

It has been many moons since we had watered till 11pm, but Friday night it was a thing. With no rain since May 13-14, its just what it took. Pretty gnarly elements for promoters in Ohio this past weekend. I think everyone that tackled a prep deserves a steak and a beer.
