W.T.M. - Weekly updates

Is tv land the only place open today? Hoping to finish work early enough.

Also, I would really like to ride Western Reserve tomorrow but I cannot justify the ridiculous cost. 20 gate fee and 35 to ride. My kid wants to ride and my wife watches. 130? Nah. Even going solo, 55 is just too much when there are other options. Malvern used to refund the gate fee if you rode Saturday practice but left before a certain time, and that was the fair way of doing it.

Go to Amherst open practice Saturday.

I don’t remember if you said the rear was a 120 or a 110 on the at82. I know you like your 110’s and after talking i want to try a 110 on the rear.

Well, i have this 110 82. Ill give them both to ya for the price on 1 tire lol.. i could probably find someone going to the merp to bring it if u wanted it.

Jo just posted Sunday only.

I don't know if BC got any rain this morning, but Newark got just enough to make the streets wet.

Conditions went from soft first thing to hard late in the day. Twas a perfect day!

A few of us who park together agree that the off-camber area just might be the best part of the new design!

Rode bburg today. Kiddo had a mishap a few laps in. Nothing violent but she landed a small table top on her toes and bent her foot upward pretty bad. She told me to keep riding and we could see how it felt later. I did two 30s and bailed because she couldn't even stand on it. Broke the growth plate. Ortho tomorrow.

Raced at eastfork yesterday and it was a day I’ll say that. Pretty frustrating bad day for me. Bike set up was completely off the track was very different than typical eastfork pretty much had no traction anywhere also due to me not feeling comfortable at all my riding suffered. Honestly just couldn’t get it figured out had a few sketchy moments with back end stepping out on slick chop and some other things. Just one of those days I wasn’t feeling it but at the end of the day not every race or practice day can be good so moving on and putting it in the past. I will say I thought turnout was going to be a bit bigger but honestly was pretty light especially in my classes and with it being the joint series for buckeye and Lincoln there was no IL people that came over

Any thoughts about why? Fuel cost is obvious but was there another race going on?
I still think its too bad that either BC or EF/Chillitown are not part of the Vet Series.
All 3 of those tracks would be perfect additions

My personal opinion would be the people who ride the Lincoln trail series has just raced there for so long they don’t wanna drive the 4 hours to race somewhere else. Lincoln’s series has regulars that are more similar to the people who ride all the buckeye series or night series at malvern. Except they only ride at Lincoln and there is a lot of them. Crazy to go from first round at Lincoln in collegeboy having 28 people to fork having 4

Hit up 62 yesterday. Man, jimmy’s prep is SO GOOD. i was one of the first people on the track and it was like riding on brownie butter. Wide open around the turns and the bike just stuck. Around 2 it started getting hard pack and dusty, but still some loamy areas left with moisture i was finding. Was a good day
