Who's in? Anyone plan on staying to race sunday?

The track is a little shorter this year, they cut the back section off by the wood line. At least thats per the Racer X track map.

I am planning on doing the Friday open practice. This is where it all started for me back in 1988. My first race ever on a CR500, I was hooked!!

What class on the CR500? I raced Open B on Saturday.

I got the 450 moto watched. Good for the top guy on the podium. He seems to be putting it together. I'm really starting to like Grant in the booth. All for now. This pup is pooped. Night...

Track looked hard packed......like a SX race, so Bubba was in his element.

It was amazing how sloppy it was during practice and what it turned in to. In the first moto they weren't doing the corner double at all.

Looked like the same prep as Ironman.. Hard pack second moto. With dust..

Was also cool to see Reedy up there. Wonder if he did any whining this week ???

After the 2nd 250 moto I observed a guy from Dunlop with a clip board taking the temperature of the dirt after the staircase. I thought that was pretty cool.

Also, didn't see any water trucks out the entire day between motos. I was impressed by how much moisture the track held. The first practice was very wet and ugly, and I think the tv coverage made the track look more hard packed than it really was. The track was ripped very deep.

Did anyone catch the comment from RCH? I thought it was kinda harsh to WP40 and Hot Sauce. Pretty much just said, ya we are just using these guys till we get the riders we really want. lol
