Hoofed it to Redbud for practice yesterday. Smoked past at least 20 guys that didn't have a scoop tire or a 450. The best feeling ever!

CTMX was packed!
It was a beautiful weekend and their program ran timely
238 racers Sat and 748 Sunday
Sat practice was deep, wet, and rutted everywhere.
Sunday was dry (yet not dusty). Some of the corners had deeper ruts with braking and acceleration bumps.
3 classes had over 40 entries and had qualifiers. 2nd motos were cut to 3 laps.
60+ had 6 entries due to the addition of Mike Morgan.
The tough part of the age classes is being at the opposite end of those entering.
I'm hoping Santa brings me some additional speed and skills for Christmas!

Ctmx was packed! Biggest local race of the year. Got p8 overall in open A out of 19 should have held off two in the final Moto but couldn’t. Then p4 overall in collegboy out of 24 due to first Moto score not being good enough. Great to have good competition and only being an hour from home. Felt like I rode good all weekend besides a minor crash on Saturday. Track was a little weird Saturday just how it formed. Sunday I thought was great. It got gnarly but it never got unsafe gnarly. Big chop and breaking bumps but for not prepping all day but here and there really quick I think it held up good. Unfortunately got cut to 3 laps in second motos but is what it is gets dark fast. Honestly I think to cap the year off next year for this event it should be a triple crown with the three Moto format I think that’d do great to cap off the year just an idea and everyone would get home at a decent time Sunday and have all there laps!

Went down south to Athens this past weekend and did a JXC enduro. My first enduro, 2 hours on a 8 mile course. Lots of elevation, some single track and a nice grass track and 3 creek crossings. I ran 30+vet class, grabbed the holeshot and ran up front most of the race until i high sided in the grass track. P2 out of 8 in class and 15th o/a out of 85 racers.

Also minimoto farm is opening up today and next Saturday for any pit bike riders, and I believe 85cc and down riders.

The place is awesome but so far the turnout is terrible. The promotors are doing everything to attract racers. Not too many classes, the program moves smoothly, the lighting isn’t bad, and the dirt is great.

Ended up at western for the benefit. Good turnout for the cause.
Deff got in the way of some A/B class guys and then tried to tail some members to find the right lines. Those guys go fast there
