W.T.M. - Weekly updates

Private turn track on Sat and Rt62 yesterday with Hershey
Rt62 prep was very rideable
Kilbarger/Whitcraft had 23 riders for SX training.
Only 3 were big bikes. The kids are the growth of the sport.
Fall is the best time to ride!

I like how you described the prep as "very rideable". Not tilled to china?

Spent the last month with too much time sitting and thinking, learning more about myself each day. Moto is not just a past time for me or even a hobby. It's my life. I am so distracted by racing I don't have time to worry about much else. I miss sitting in the pits all day waiting on my next 4-lapper :(

62 series is coming up, anyone else planning to race them?

Went to crawfordsville for the final GNCC of the year! Almost 3,000 entries over the weekend. Sunday was perfect, 41 degrees for the 8am race. I ran SuperVet 35+C, 18 racers in my class, and 389 in the session. Got off to a horrible start, 12th going into the first turn, by the time we made it to the entry of the woods i was in second, and made the pass for 1st shortly after. I led the whole race and won by just shy of a minute. Ended the session 65th overall out of the 389 racers, and my class was 3rd to last to go. These past 2 weeks have been awesome, a win at the Penton and at Ironman, the largest GNCC of the year. IMG_0276.jpeg

Tvland was good today. Took the funtwo five and clocked 2.6 hours on my meter. The laps just kept coming and the fun kept happening. Haven’t ride that much in a single day in i can’t remember how long.
Fun times yesterday and Trevor had the track prime for us!!!

Georgie- The image of Dave Smith will be permanently burned into our brains now!!! lmao

Anyone going to the turkey run at crow canyon this weekend? Wife and i plan to go Saturday. I've never been to it so I'm not sure what to expect as far as the crowd. Ive also never ridden a 300 2 stroke so im looking forward to feeling the hype.

Parts are on the way to fix my steed, I am not going sat, but have been before. It's a great time. Place gets packed, the demo bikes are fun to ride just got to wait around a little bit.

In the meantime though, there are people BSing and riding around all over. It's deff better than a long day at work :)

It’s cool, i usually go every year, but son has a football tournament this weekend. Moto track usually gets very crowded, kind of frustrating trying to put down laps with kids and everyone on it. The line for the demos are usually long, and they only let you take the bikes on a short woods loop. If you ever wanna ride a 300sx on a moto track, let me know, you can rip mine. I’ll be honest, it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned, i call it a 3 stroke bc it doesn’t ride like a 2 stroke and doesn’t quite ride like a 4 stroke. Perfect all around bike IMO. I just won my class at Ironman gncc on it.

it’s a good time

Went out to Crow Saturday morning. Place was packed. Not many standing in line for the demos so i rode 6 different bikes pretty quickly. The traction of those 300's was impressive but I just cant ride a 2 stroke. The 450xc-f was my favorite. The easy loop was just 4 miles of slippery slop. Then went and raced a CRA Harescramble at Mansfield Motorcycle Club Sunday. I know the CRA has a rough reputation these days but it was a great time nonetheless.
