W.T.M. - Weekly updates

@Mcaupp22 you sure aren't afraid to travel. That chain is a sleeper. I have been using Primary Drive drivetrain products for over 3/4 years now with no issues whatsoever.

I don’t mind traveling for good competition and big gates like I had almost 20 in both classes and we’re both fast. That’s why no matter if you make it to LL or not you should always race the regionals because it’s the best gate drops vs the best dudes. I like seeing different places too and riding different tracks. I’d like it hit at least one in every state which may never happen but would be dope if it did.

Update on Rt62 from today...

I was very impressed with the new layout; it's a lot of fun. They have covered all bases with tight corners
and fast areas as well. Most riders will find the tabled jumps very doable, with 1 large step-up triple.
4 groups, A/B, Quad, C, Minis. I'm normally wary of their track changes as it seems they have a history
of catering to the top 5% vs the 95%. I can imagine the rider count increasing as a result of the new layout.

That said, unfortunately, they way overloaded the track during C practice. Zero open spaces. With the Quads
in between the A/B & C practice groups, it was an open invitation for everyone to get back on the track.
It's early in the year, and everyone wants seat time. It's understandable. But hopefully, in the future, they can
figure out a solution before it becomes a bad situation.

We ended up trying driven for the first time. Ultimately, I wanted to try somewhere new closer to home. Only a 30 minute drive. I know they like it rutty there, and with the rain earlier in the week I knew itd be a challenging track and thats exactly why i went. Really wanted something rough to try and sort my suspension out a little better and possibly make myself learn to deal with it better. I intentionally rode the deepest longest ruts to try and get better heading into regional season. Everyone who knows me knows ultra rutty tracks aren't my favorite, so it was like water boarding my own self lol. I did have fun though once I found my groove and a better suspension set up that allowed me to actually turn.

My daughter turned 11 yesterday and she got a new 6d and her first pair of "higher end" boots. She had fun at driven but admitted it was very tough with the ruts. Her first session i kinda had the "uh oh" thoughts in my head while watching. The second session she did much better and i was pumped she started to find a little flow. My kiddo isnt the fastest and I dont give one crap. As long as shes having fun and learning along the way im happy.
