Cr500 won’t idle

So my cr500 was running great, i washed it (forgot to bag the air filter) and now i can’t get it to idle at all unless you slightly twist the throttle.. It’ll run, but up top it feels choked up. We haven’t done anything to the bike, still the same jetting fmf recommendeds for their fatty pipe. We’ve took the carb off the and cleaned everything, i did find a few droplets of water in the bowl while cleaning the carb. Does anyone have an my ideas as to what it could be? I’m at a loss here, and I’m tempted just to buy a new air stryker pk38mm carb for it.

I drained the fuel tank, and went and got fresh 112 race fuel and premixed at 40:1 with maxima k2 and it’s still doing it. Im thinking maybe it’s the clip may have came loose on the needle.

Ended up buying a new keihin 38mm air stryker carb for it. Slide was broke on the old carb. Installed it last night and bike fired first kick.
