Looking for anyone that has experienced any problems running T4 or T4+ Vp Race fuel in there Yamaha yzf's. Years 2023-2026
Currently have 4 bikes down with these symptoms. All need new fuel pumps!
Symptoms bogging down, loss of power, backfiring at high rpm and will cut out.
What I have found and have been told, do not run VP T4 , T4+ in Yamaha's. This is from VP and Representatives from the Moto industry.
I have multiple emails from each side stating the problems but neither will say its there problem.
Round about way just by new fuel pumps if experiencing this problem. VP will not help and Yamaha will not either. One blames the other.
Short version
-VP T4+ has different additives then before. Fix there is a new batch of T4+ coming out within next couple of weeks. So, run different fuel or pump gas
-Yamaha has changed there parts in the pump over the years 2023-2026. Will not say, just blaming VP.
The fuel damages the fuel pump by swelling the internals.
