Jett Down! Who's your SX pick?

Sexton is his own worst enemy. Hes fast but to many mistakes and crashes. I’d keep an eye on hampshire, barcia and Anderson. Could be real spoilers if they stay healthy!!!
 
Honestly, i hope tomac blows their doors off. He usually takes a few rounds to get comfy at beast pace for 20 tho.

Should be a decent SX season. Plenty of healthy returning racers with new rides and brands in the mix.
 
If I had to put cash on it, I would go #4 for the championship. He'll be the the fastest, win the most races, wash the front, throw points away.

I think Kenny and Hunta will come out firing in the early races. Same bike, same settings. I expect Hunter to take a step up this year. Kenny, like many have said, will be good for the first half of the season. I would be surprised if he was in it to the end.

Barcia is washed up he ain’t going to do nothing on the Ducati if anything Fernandis will though. Anderson has speed but never lasts the whole race typically and always gets sick mid season. Hampshire will get top 5s podium possibly but far reach. Top 10 will interchange every week to many dudes going so fast

So pumped for prado!!! He’s super talented!! We all should know that. He landed on the wrong team, shows how important it is to find the right motorcycle! Factory, etc!!! Don’t think sexton gonna work out on the Kawasaki. Even Anderson did great on a supposedly dinasaur!!! Hope barcia is ok. Mookie looks like something broken which blows. Deegan, typical! Afraid of the start and tries to make it up !!! Find it hilarious that he’s smx main focus!! Kids a head case! Yes he’s very fast! But got mental problems. Definitely his dad’s fault. Brian has done this and it’s very sad!!
 
Sextons result and Prados result was very telling. Even without Sextons result, Prado showed he wasnt bs'n and just didn't get along with the kaw. Hes got more talent in his toe hair than I do, but I tried a kawi and just never felt comfortable as well. Sextons definitely going to struggle.

Barcia is lucky if mxa's reports are accurate in saying he has movement in all limbs. That was a horrible crash. Mookies arm definitely seemed broke.

I thought ando looked killer on the rmz. Reminiscent of back when he was on rockstar suzuki (i think) when his career started to take off.

Honestly surprised at DF. Figured he was done for but maybe hes gelling with the factory Ducati vibe.
 
I thought for sure when barcia went down he could possibly be paralyzed after a crash like that I would not be surprised to see him hang it up. Got two kids and had a great career.
 
No rider has ever won a championship in their 30s. Championship tall task for Tomac. Even though he’s got the red plate for now.

A1 is wierd. I don’t really think it sets the tone for anything. Cliche yea the only thing a1 can do is guarantee you finish the season.

Barcia seen both sides of it now. Multiple a1 victories with no championship. And now likely season ender A1…

Well the number 1 rider in the world is out for a bit so that changes everything. Including the mental status of all the riders! And if you look at the 450 class, take away the Lawrence brothers, what’s the age of the top contenders? Tomac, Webb, roczen, Anderson!! Shows the lack of young depth in the 450 class. Now take away tomac, Webb, roczen, Anderson, even throw in plessinger. WHO you gonna replace them with? The sport is thinning out! I’ve kept up with the young and up and comers. Aka Loretta’s!!! I don’t see a windham, Stewart, Carmichael, deegan , etc! Do you? What’s going on with our sport? What’s the problem? I want everyone’s opinion!!! Open mind!!

I don't believe its thinning out, I think the gap is closing. The sport has changed dramatically in terms of base equipment, gear, fitness, and bike training. There are more opportunities than ever to put your child in the position to train full time or spend hours at night watching user loaded videos to make your technique better. This is showing in the margins of win/lose.

SMX is showing its working also on this platform I believe. Those riders that started the early years in SMX are out qualifying the older riders that didn't get into the stadiums that way.

There are still the all-stars at the ranch too though who I would expect to be the next big movers if they can transition to big bikes well.
